Dr Low is OccuMED’s Founding Occupational Physician and WorkCover Approved Permanent Impairment Assessor (APIA) with over 20 years of experience in the specialty.

- Medical Review Officer (MRO)
- Rail safety medicals – AHP
- OGUK Examining Doctor
- 24/7 mine site support
- Oversight of pre-employment medical assessments and other medical services for organisations (Chief Medical Officer)

Senior Occupational Physician
Dr Lai is a Senior Occupational Physician, WorkCover Approved Permanent Impairment Assessor (APIA).
He also consults under contract to:
- Department of Education
- Department of Health
- WA Police
Dr Lai is actively involved as an AFOEM examiner. He is also a clinical adjunct associate professor at Curtin University.

- ‘Upstream’ human capital investment; Design and implementation of integrated health protection and health promotion

Occupational Physician
Dr Tan is an Occupational Physician and a WorkCover Approved Permanent Impairment Assessor (APIA).

Occupational Physician
Dr Biyani is an Occupational Physician with an expansive vision – “Healthy & Empowered Workers create Healthy Workplaces, Communities & Nations”.
She is a mindful practitioner and her clinical practice is based on a “wholistic” care model incorporating body-mind complex.

Occupational Physician
Dr Provan is an Occupational Physician and WorkCover Approved Permanent Impairment Assessor (APIA).
He is also a medical consultant to the Department of Defence (over 20 years). He holds qualifications in diving / underwater and aviation medicine.

- Chief Medical Officer (CMO) services
- Overseas placement – fitness
Occupational Physician
Dr Li is an Occupational Physician who has worked with OccuMED since 2012. He is also an in-house medical consultant at Alcoa.
His years of experience from previously working as a spinal surgeon in China and an orthopaedic registrar in Australia enhances his understanding of musculoskeletal injuries and their management. His research background and PhD in orthopaedics enables him to utilize up-to-date medical evidence in assessing and managing medical conditions.

- Injury management
- Medical assessments in Chinese/Mandarin
- Health surveillance; program design, implementation and monitoring

Occupational Physician
Dr Townsend is an Occupational Physician and WorkCover Approved Permanent Impairment Assessor (APIA).
He was previously a Physiotherapist graduate at Curtin University before completing his Masters in Musculoskeletal Studies at UWA in 2003, allowing him to provide additional depth to his assessment, management and rehabilitation of work recommendations related to musculoskeletal injuries.
Special interests include:
- Specialist second opinion/advice on treatment of complex musculoskeletal injuries
- Fitness for work assessments
- Independent medical and early intervention assessments
- Injury management, rehabilitation and return to work assistance
Occupational Physician
Dr Yap is an Occupational Physician who is highly experienced in health monitoring programs and providing injury management services for the healthcare, transport and mining industry. She has excellent communication skills with patients, employers and insurers.
